CESTOPAL 1618 30/70 SC is a blend of C16 and C18 fatty alcohols in a 30/70 ratio, with a predominance of stearyl alcohol (C18), used as a consistency agent and viscosity modifier in cosmetic formulations.
It supports the development of structure and viscosity control in O/W emulsions, helping to achieve the desired consistency and a stable formulation structure. It is a PEG-free solution based on renewable raw materials.
O/W creams and emulsions: as a component supporting viscosity development, structure and emulsion stability.
Balms and lotions: for adjusting consistency and achieving the desired product structure.
Skin care products: as a consistency-building agent in formulations requiring a stable and reproducible rheological profile.
Hair care products: as a structuring component in emulsion-based formulations such as conditioners and masks.
PEG-free formulations: in systems where the use of PEG-containing ingredients is to be reduced or eliminated.
