CESTOPAL 1618 50/50 is a blend of C16 and C18 fatty alcohols in a balanced 50/50 ratio, used as a consistency agent, viscosity modifier and component supporting the stability of cosmetic emulsions.
The balanced proportion of cetyl and stearyl alcohol makes this grade a versatile oil-phase structuring agent, suitable for adjusting consistency and building a stable structure in O/W emulsions. It is a PEG-free solution based on renewable raw materials.
O/W creams and emulsions: as a co-emulsifier and structuring agent supporting formulation stability and viscosity control.
Balms and lotions: for building the desired consistency and a stable product structure.
Skin care products: in formulations requiring a combination of emulsion stabilization with control over texture and viscosity.
Hair care products: as a structuring agent and auxiliary co-emulsifier in conditioners, masks and other emulsion-based systems.
PEG-free formulations: as a fatty alcohol enabling emulsion structuring without introducing PEG-containing ingredients.
