General information

CESTOPAL 1618 70/30 is a blend of C16 and C18 fatty alcohols in a 70/30 ratio, with a predominance of cetyl alcohol (C16), used as a consistency agent, viscosity modifier and component supporting the stability of cosmetic emulsions.

It supports the development of structure and viscosity control in O/W emulsions, helping to manage formulation consistency and stability. The 70/30 grade is distinguished by a higher proportion of the C16 fraction compared with the other CESTOPAL 1618 variants. It is a PEG-free solution based on renewable raw materials.

Application

O/W creams and emulsions: as a structuring agent and co-emulsifier supporting formulation stability and viscosity control.

Balms and lotions: for adjusting consistency and building a stable product structure.

Skin care products: as a functional oil-phase component supporting control over emulsion structure and rheological properties.

Hair care products: as a consistency-building agent and auxiliary co-emulsifier in conditioners, masks and other emulsion-based systems.

PEG-free formulations: for building emulsion structure without introducing PEG-containing ingredients.
