Application
Cosmetics: Used as an astringent, stabiliser, and pH regulator in skincare and haircare formulations.
Food Industry: Approved as E509 – a firming agent and stabiliser in cheeses, canned vegetables, and beverages.
Pharmaceuticals: Used in calcium supplements, injection solutions, and treatments for hypocalcaemia.
Industrial: As a drying agent, de-icer, dust control additive, and component in refrigeration brines.
Agriculture: Applied in foliar sprays to prevent calcium deficiencies and as a soil conditioner.
