The raw material is a purified, natural wax fraction obtained from sheep wool and belongs to a group of complex mixtures of esters, diesters, hydroxyesters, aliphatic alcohols, and lanolin sterols. EWALAN 35-PA-S is a BHT-free variant, meaning it does not contain the antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene. This is particularly important in formulations requiring a cleaner composition profile, reduced excipients, and greater control over formulation declarations. The raw material has a high water-binding capacity and can act as a structural component in anhydrous formulations, water-in-oil emulsions, protective creams, ointments, balms, and regenerative products for dry and sensitive skin.
