General information

GIFRAN 3 M is a liquid, non-ionic emulsifier based on Laureth-3, belonging to the group of ethoxylated lauryl-myristyl alcohols. It is intended primarily for skin care formulations and hair colouring products, where it supports the formation and organization of the emulsion system.

Compared with GIFRAN 2 M, GIFRAN 3 M has a higher degree of ethoxylation and therefore a slightly more hydrophilic character. This makes it a distinct technological option within the GIFRAN range, particularly when selecting an emulsifying system for a specific oil phase and application.

Application

Skin care creams and emulsions: as a non-ionic component of the emulsifying system, supporting the development of the desired formulation structure.

Skin care products: in emulsion formulations requiring a liquid emulsifier from the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols.

Hair colouring products: as part of the emulsifying system in creams and other hair dye formulations.

Complex emulsifying systems: as a component used together with other emulsifiers and structuring agents, depending on the nature of the oil phase and the required product structure.
