General information

Hydrodis WP 56/N is an advanced liquid formulation based on phosphonic acid sodium salts, designed to stabilize aqueous systems in the presence of hard water and calcium/magnesium ions. Thanks to its strong chelating and dispersing properties, it effectively prevents the precipitation of salts, scale formation, and instability in formulations — even under challenging pH and temperature conditions.

This product is widely used in detergent formulations, industrial cleaning systems (CIP), water treatment, and other technical applications where scale resistance and system stability are critical.

Application

Professional and industrial cleaning (I&I) – Prevents scale formation in detergents, stabilizes formulations in hard water conditions

CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems and industrial dishwashing – Maintains cleaning efficiency and protects equipment from limescale buildup

Water treatment and reverse osmosis systems – Controls scaling and precipitation of calcium and magnesium salts in closed-loop systems

Detergent tablets and powders – Enhances long-term stability, reduces residue and streaking

Agrochemical and technical formulations – Prevents crystallization of active ingredients, improves dispersion of solids

Industrial chemical processes – Functions as a threshold inhibitor and stabilizer in formulations requiring compatibility with various surfactants and additives
