General information

LAUCOSOL TB-SHD is a very mild amphoteric surfactant based on Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, designed for cleansing formulations that require a combination of gentle performance and good foaming properties.

It stabilizes and boosts foam while also helping to build formulation viscosity. It provides easy rinsing together with conditioning and antistatic properties, making it particularly useful in hair care products. Its stability across a wide pH range further increases its versatility in the development of different cleansing systems.

Application

Shampoos: as a component of mild cleansing systems, supporting foam quality and stability while providing conditioning and antistatic properties.

Shower gels and body cleansers: in formulations requiring gentle cleansing, good foaming performance and easy rinsing.

Facial cleansers: for mild cleansing systems where reducing the irritation potential of the formulation is important.

Foam-boosting formulations: as a component supporting foam generation and stabilization in surfactant systems.

Hair care products: particularly where conditioning and antistatic properties are required in addition to cleansing performance.

Formulations across a wide pH range: thanks to its stability over a broad pH range, it can be used in a variety of cleansing systems.
