LAUROPAN S/80 is an emulsifier based on Sorbitan Oleate, primarily intended for the formulation of water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions.
It performs well in systems containing vegetable oils and oleyl alcohol, supporting the formation and stabilization of the emulsion system. It also provides dispersing properties, making it suitable for use in colour cosmetics and sunscreen formulations containing mineral ingredients such as zinc compounds and TiO₂.
W/O emulsions: creams and other water-in-oil formulations, particularly those based on vegetable oils and oleyl alcohol.
Colour cosmetics: as a dispersing agent supporting the even distribution of dispersed-phase components within the formulation.
Sun care products: formulations containing zinc compounds and TiO₂, where effective dispersion of mineral ingredients is important.
Oil-based and emulsion formulations: as a component supporting the organization of the oil phase and the stable dispersion of selected formulation ingredients.
