Webpage Administrator – the MEDICOS-designated entity designated administering the services provided on the Webpage;
Customer– a person conducting a business or professional activity in their own name and performing a legal action directly related to their business or professional activity, to whom, in accordance with the Terms of Use of the Webpage and legal regulations, services may be provided by electronic means, including the service of accepting inquiries;

§1. General provisions

These Terms of Use, hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”, set out the rules for the use of the www.medicos.com.pl webpage

The content, information and other services presented on this page are intended for business entities only.

Each person should read the Terms of Use of the Webpage before using it.

MEDICOS provides its services on the basis of these Terms of Use, and entering this Webpage and using the content on it is tantamount to accepting this legal notice. The Terms of Use are binding on the visitor to the Webpage without the need to conclude a separate agreement.

The user who does not agree to comply with the provisions of these Terms of Use is asked to leave the Webpage.

The content of the Terms of Use can be accessed by clicking on the “Terms of Use” link in the footer of the Webpage.

§2. Terms of Use of the Webpage

The use of the Webpage is subject to restrictions arising from the provisions of Polish law and the generally accepted rules of conduct applicable to all Internet Users, designed to protect their interests and the interests of third parties (netiquette).

The time of use of the Webpage is not limited in advance, nor is the user obliged to use the Webpage for a certain minimum period.

The services made available on the Webpage may be free of charge and for a fee.

Viewing the public content of the Webpage is free of charge.

Information provided on the Webpage, including information on the scope of services, and prices, constitute an invitation to conclude an agreement within the meaning of Article 71 of the Civil Code.

Making inquiries, placing orders and concluding contracts is done in accordance with the rules laid out in the General Terms of Service available at https://medicos.com.pl/polityka-prywatnosci/

§3. Services available on the Webpage

The Administrator provides the following services on this webpage:

  • display of content and information about MEDICOS, including offerings and contact data;
  • optional subscription to the Newsletter, under the conditions specified in the Newsletter Terms and Conditions;
  • opportunities to get in touch with the Company.

Access to the Webpage services is free of charge.

The Administrator reserves the right to introduce fees on any services provided on the Webpage and undertakes to give prior notice of the changes and to obtain the express approval of the Webpage visitor for the introduction of such fees.

§4. Technical conditions

To use the Webpage, it is necessary to meet the following technical requirements:

  • an end device (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet) with access to the Internet;
  • a standard web browser with cookies support;

Every Internet user should take care of the security of their end device. It is recommended that the device have an antivirus program with an up-to-date virus definition database, an up-to-date and secure version of the Internet browser, and an active firewall. In addition, the user should periodically check that the operating system and programs installed on it are up to date, as attacks take advantage of bugs found in installed software. Software manufacturers try to eliminate such vulnerabilities with updates. 
The Administrator reserves the right to temporarily suspend the provision of services due to modernization or reconstruction of the Webpage or maintenance work on the Webpage core ICT system
The Administrator shall not be liable for any interruption of services due to reasons beyond the Administrator’s control.

§5. Legal disclaimers

All intellectual property rights, including, in particular, copyright and trademark rights vested in all text, illustrations, photos, sounds and other materials posted on the webpage are the property of MEDICOS or are subject to the authorization of use by their owner.

Without the Administrator’s prior approval, the user may not:

  • use (copies/parts) of this webpage or the designations contained in its content for commercial purposes;
  • modify (parts of) this webpage or incorporate its content of other texts (such as paper documents, blogs, or third-party webpages).

§6. Complaints and liability

The Administrator will make every effort to ensure the proper operation of the Webpage and provide assistance in solving problems related to its operation.
All complaints related to the operation of the Webpage should be:

  • in writing and include: user’s full name, e-mail address, mailing address, and grounds for the complaint;
  • send by registered mail to the Administrator’s address or emailed to:kontakt@medicos.com.pl

The Administrator will consider the complaint within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt.

The Administrator shall not be liable, in particular under the terms of Chapter 3 of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 344), for the content of information and opinions provided by visitors to the Webpage.
The Administrator provides no warranty whatsoever for any material or information posted on the Webpage as to their value, suitability, completeness, completeness or usefulness.
The Administrator may deny access to services, including the Newsletter service, in the event that the Customer acts to the detriment of the Administrator or acts in non-compliance with the provisions of the Terms of Use of the Webpage or the law, including activity involving transmission of false or misleading content, obscene content contrary to good morals or generally considered offensive, content that may violate third-party rights, or if security reasons provide grounds for blocking access to the Customer’s Account and free services – in particular, the Customer’s breaking of the Webpage’s security or other hacking activity. The blocking of access to free services for the said reasons shall last for the period necessary to resolve the issue leading to such blocking. The Customer will be notified of the blocking of access to free services by e-mail to the address provided by the Client in the sign-up form.

§7. Information and personal data sharing

The Webpage user provides information, mainly personal data, which is tantamount to consenting to it being used in relation to the Data Controller’s specific needs specified in the place of collection of the said information and the Privacy and Cookies Policy.

§8. Final provisions

The provisions of Polish law, in particular the provisions of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services and the Act of 23 April 1964 – Civil Code, shall apply to all matters not covered by these Terms of Use.

The Administrator reserves the right to unilaterally change the Terms of Use upon prior notice notifying the Webpage visitors of such a change.

The Terms of Use are available on the Webpage and in hard copy at the Administrator’s office.

This legal notice and the use of the Webpage by its visitors shall be subject to the laws of Poland.
